Over thirty Allegheny County coaches came together for a recent coaches’ workshop at Baldwin-Whitehall High School on Wednesday, March 18. The monthly workshops are not new, but this particular professional learning opportunity was. Comprised of 21st Century Learning and Teaching coaches and instructional coaches, this meeting marks the first of its kind in the region. These coaches are combining their expertise to drive coaching forward in AIU3 schools. During the workshop, coaches revisited “The Ten Roles of Coaching” and explored ways to intensify their work with teachers. Several coaches helped to co-facilitate the meeting, which made it authentic as well as engaging. - AIU3 PIIC Mentor, Chris Hausammann
